Little Red and the Sweet Lumberjack

October has surely been one for the books. The ups, the downs, the bliss, then the “catch” and the repercussions of trusting blindly that businesses always play fair. I thought at this point I would be settling into our downtown loft, however that is not the case. Trying to not be bitter about it and not use this site as a platform for my frustrating experience with a certain property group. I’ll just keep it short and say that the “gorgeous loft” was indeed a lovely historically renovated location…but the strings attached were not what was advertised. As a work from home Mom, the lack of ANY all day parking Mon-Friday 8-6 was the major deal breaker alongside other things the company misrepresented….we stepped back and decided to not sign the lease. Too weary of what other things could be hidden from the eye and the already sour experience, it was with a heavy heart but now a source of relief. We found a nice town home we will be moving into in November. The picture I painted of the year to come will be a little different but I think it’s truly for the best. Not to mention, significantly safer. Home is where the heart is and I hope to make this next chapter a magical one just with a different location.October has surely been one for the books. With that being said, I’ve been a little behind on the blogging front. As always, my over ambition gets the best of me. The blog post I was planning for last Thursday is coming out days later. Guess that is what I get for being a dreamer, right? My little love bug went from two naps a day, to no naps a day…and we’ve finally found a meeting point of a single nap smack dab in the middle of the day. I will gladly take it. Finally have the opportunity to share this fun little whimsical shoot I did with two sweet story book characters brought to life. Although the cape didn’t turn out as savvy as I was hoping (I’m not great at sewing, actually pretty horrible at it) Grace and Liam brought their modeling A-game.

And Liam’s Dad is a fellow photographer. Can you tell? He wasn’t camera shy one bit.

Little Grace transformed on camera, from being shy to being the comedian of the group!
